After individual sections were prepared
on-site, the sections were moved around the coal yard and placed into
the SCR structural steel using a Liebherr-1550 700-ton crane and a
Manitowic 150-ton crane.
During the 8 week outage, ENERFAB
mobilized a team of approximately 175 men per shift, per two shifts a
day, seven days a week. ENERFAB had in place a full time safety
person for the duration of the outage.
The result — an ENERFAB standard.
The entire two phase project was completed on time and under budget
with no lost time accidents during the job.
ENERFAB is well positioned to
manage all of your power maintenance projects from service and upgrade
outages to clean air systems retrofitting including SCR units and
scrubbers.
